Increasing the cost of the electricity standing charge will hit vulnerable people on the Island the most.
That's according to South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey who's angry about Manx Utilities' price hikes - he says those that use the least energy will be hit the hardest.
From April 1st domestic customers, who pay the charge, will see their bills increase by around 85p per month.
However in a heated debate in the House of Keys this week MUA chairman Alf Cannan said if he didn't like it he shouldn't have voted for it:
