Government is yet to comment on the future political career of disgraced MLC Tony Wild.
The 57-year-old was sentenced at Douglas Courthouse last week after being caught drink driving in Laxey in December.
The Legislative Council member, whose position runs until 2018, was over three times the legal limit - in court his actions were described as "shameful".
It's led to calls from some members of the public for him to resign - he also holds political responsibility for the department of Health and Social Care.
It's understood the Chief Minister, who allocates that responsibility, hasn't yet had an opportunity to meet with him in person.
