Work underway on new flooding and erosion strategy

Efforts are underway to make the Island more resilient to the social, environmental and economic effects of nature.
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is putting together a national strategy on sea defences, flooding and coastal erosion.
The plan focuses on how risk areas can be monitored and dealt with - it's to try and avoid the impact of people losing property or their livelihoods.
