Heroin seized from woman arrested at Sea Terminal

Police seized £8,400 worth of heroin from a woman at the Sea Terminal last week.

She was carrying it internally when she was arrested in Douglas on Wednesday.

Officers charged her with drugs offences yesterday and she'll appear at Douglas Courthouse this morning.

The woman, who hasn't been named, is from the south of the Island.
