Island 'lagging behind' when it comes to women in politics

The only two female politicians on the Isle of Man are working to channel female empowerment at a conference today.

Liberal Vannin leader Kate Beecroft will join the President of Tynwald Clare Christian in Guernsey.

The event organised by the Commonwealth Women Parliamentarian group looks at influencing policy and legislation.
