Social media 'risk' can be managed says Deemster

Social media poses a "risk" during criminal trials and the Isle of Man cannot afford to be complacent about it.

That's the view of criminal deemster Alistair Montgomerie who says it's a prevalent issue which has "changed beyond recognition".

He's appeared before a Tynwald Select Committee which is considering the operation of the jury system and whether its integrity is being threatened.
