Plans to allow same sex marriage have been passed through the House of Keys for a second time.
The new legislation would enable same-sex couples on the Island to marry in a civil or religious ceremony.
However it wasn't a unanimous decision - four MHKs including Eddie Teare, John Houghton, Zac Hall and Chris Robertshaw voted against the idea.
Speaking after yesterday's debate Chief Minister Allan Bell said it still sends out a clear message:
