Stop procrastinating over LegCo referendum says MHK

Is it time to have a referendum on issues surrounding the Legislative Council?

That's the question being asked by South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey - he wants a public vote on whether the system should be preserved or replaced by eight publically elected MLCs.

It's believed potential General Election candidates are being asked whether or not they think LegCo should be abolished or its powers revaluated.

Mr Malarkey insists it's time to stop procrastinating and make a firm decision:
