Trainee police officers admit hard work is just beginning

Two trainee police officers say they're looking forward to starting a career which will make a difference.

They've started their 14-week initial training course alongside six other new recruits.

So far the first intake of 2016 has covered the history of law, and the criminal justice system, as well as practical sessions on how to protect themselves and others.
