The Isle of Man is losing out by not having a budget hotel chain.
That's the view of Hotel Solutions - the company which has undertaken a comprehensive review of the Island's hotel sector.
Chains including Premier Inn and Travelodge are reportedly interested in setting up here - Andrew Keeling conducted the study and admits it has caused some concern.
However he maintains that the budget option would be the most deliverable and "commercially viable" type of new hotel in the short term:
