Bus driver dismissal prompts internal investigation

The unfair dismissal of a bus driver has prompted an independent internal investigation within the Department of Infrastructure.

Last year an employment tribunal ruled in favour of Darren Scarffe after he was dismissed for gross misconduct - he was told he would be awarded compensation.

Minister Phil Gawne was questioned in the House of Keys this week about what preventative measures he's planning as a result.
