Cat injured after dog attacks in Douglas

Police are appealing for information after someone's dog "severely injured" a pet cat in Douglas this morning.

The black and white spaniel attacked on Poplar Terrace at around 8am before running off.

Officers say they're concerned about other animals, or people, being injured because the owner wasn't there to control their animal.

Anyone who saw what happened has been asked to contact Police Headquarters.
