Remand for man who faces string of sex charges

A Douglas man who faces a string of sex charges has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.

55-year-old Antony Carus appeared at Douglas Courthouse via live video link last week for mention.

He faces 11 charges including rape, indecent assault, buggery and gross indecency.

The offences were allegedly committed between December 2001 and June 2012.

An application for bail was refused and Carus was remanded until his next court appearance on February 23rd.
