Ratepayers in Douglas have had their rates frozen for the next financial year.
The rate will remain at 402 pence in the pound - it follows Douglas Council's controversial decision to scrap the horse tram service.
Overall council leader David Christian says it's good news.
He says the council had to act to stop an "unacceptable level of burden" being placed on ratepayers - something that would have continued to increase this year:
