Twenty shooters took part in the fourth round of Ayre Clay Target Club’s winter English Skeet league at Blue Point on Sunday, in windy but dry conditions.

 

There was a three way tie for the top spot in the Paul’s Gunstocks sponsored competition.  Jeff Corkill, Kevin Oates and junior shooter Michael Cross all scored 48/50.  The junior shooters are doing well; Jake Brew took third in B class with a score of 41 and Jordan Dougherty was third in C class on 32.

 

Results:

A Class: 1= Jeff Corkill, Michael Cross and Kevin Oates 48/50.

B Class:  1, Ted Kermeen 46; 2, James Simpson 43; 3, Jake Brew 41.

C Class: 1, Peter Lowe 36; 2, Ben Richards 35; 3, Jordan Dougherty 32.

 

This Wednesday is the Club AGM at the Clubhouse starting at 8pm.  Please try to attend.

 

Sunday’s shoots are 50 DTL in the morning followed by 50 ABT sponsored by Pro-Fab Welding.  Entries close at 10.15am and 12.30pm respectively.
