Horse tram staff could be redeployed

Horse tram staff who have lost their jobs due to a decision to scrap the iconic transport link could be redeployed.

The three employees were informed of Douglas Council's decision to stop the service - which has been in operation on the promenade since 1876 - on Thursday.

Council Leader David Christian says it's council policy try and find them employment elsewhere:
