Pension freedom on the Isle of Man should be dictated by how it's received in the UK.
That's according to the acting executive director of policy and strategy - he's speaking in the lead up to the Treasury Minister's statement in Tynwald next week.
Michael MHK Alf Cannan called for it to be introduced here so that people can control how and when to draw down their pensions.
So far it's won members' backing - Carl Hawker says there's no advantage to the economy but it would afford residents some peace of mind:
