Claims that relationships with contractors have been damaged due to the 'mishandling' of a dredging project last year are being disputed.
Last week the Public Accounts Committee published its report into the procurement operation to clear Peel Marina- it claimed the Department of Infrastructure had made numerous mistakes.
The committee has now called for Tynwald to reaffirm the importance of financial regulations.
One criticism levelled was that relationships may suffer because of the handling of the process - something Minister Phil Gawne says can't be laid at his door:
