Extensive repair work will have to be carried out on the Island's roads after the severe weather experienced over the last month.
Highways, particularly minor routes, have failed in many places - with road edges being washed away, surfaces deteriorating and potholes appearing.
Temporary repairs are being carried out by the Department of Infrastructure as a stop-gap although these aren't proving entirely fruitful.
