Efforts are underway to increase the number of adult and mental health nurses who are trained on the Isle of Man.
The Department of Health and Social Care is running a recruitment drive to select 20 students who want to start a Bachelor or Master of Nursing Degree in September.
The three year programme, run in partnership with the University of Chester, is carried out solely on the Island.
