Manx Gas top of OFT agenda

Protecting consumers and regulating Manx Gas are top of the agenda for the Office of Fair Trading in the New Year.

That's the message from its chief officer - who says the first priority is to get the Consumer Protection Amendment Bill through Tynwald.

It also looks to maintain the new regulatory agreement with the gas provider - which saw its board agreeing to a 3.5 per cent tariff reduction in January.
