Merseyside Police say the death of a clubber from the Isle of Man "may be drug related".

47-year-old Andrew Glaister died yesterday after falling ill at Cream nightclub in Liverpool in the early hours of Sunday, December 27th.

A post-mortem will take place later today to establish his cause of death - officers say they're exploring a number of lines of enquiry including looking at whether drugs were involved.

Mr Glaister's death follows that of a 19-year-old teenager from Crosby in Liverpool who also died following his attendance at the same venue.

Officers say both deaths continue to be treated as "unexplained" and say a "comprehensive investigation" has been launched.
