Rising public sector pay packets revealed

813 central government employees are taking home more than £50,000 a year.

That's an increase from 2011 when 759 workers were being paid that amount.

In Tynwald yesterday it was also revealed that an extra 24 public servants have been paid annual salaries of £175,000 in that four year period.
