People on the Island are being urged to turn out today to the funeral of a Second World War veteran and Japanese prisoner of war.
The Royal British Legion is hoping the public can help give 96-year old James Burge the 'send-off he deserves'.
Mr Burge lived at Sheen Valley Care Home - he'd either outlived or lost contact with his friends and family.
A service will take place at the Lawn Cemetery in Douglas at 11am.
