Local charity to receive support from X-Factor single sales

Manx X-Factor fans are encouraged to support a local charity by buying the winners' charity single.

£1 out of ever sale will be donated to UK charity Together for Short Lives from Tuesday - which has promised to forward a portion of the proceeds to Rebecca House.

It provides respite, palliative and end-of-life care for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions for youngsters.

Hospice Isle of Man chief executive Margaret Simpson hopes people here will show their support:
