A Douglas man who ended up "rolling around" on the floor of a car park during a drunken argument has been given a conditional discharge.
20-year-old Stuart Pacey told Magistrates at Douglas Courthouse he felt disappointed in himself as he pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly on December 6th.
Two off-duty police officers had found him in Shaw's Brow at 12.25am - they tried to split up the duo before alerting a uniformed officer.
Pacey's advocate said he fully appreciated it was "inappropriate" behaviour saying he'd been separated from his friends and was so drunk he couldn't remember the "ins and outs" of it.
Magistrates told the apprentice plumber they were prepared to give him another chance but ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £125.
