CCTV shows man wielding knife during attempted robbery

Police have released CCTV footage of the moment a masked man pulled a knife on a shop assistant in Strang.

The attempted robbery at Strang Stores happened at 5.30pm on November 2nd.

Officers now want help identifying both men, who have their identities concealed, although they have confirmed one man has been arrested.

Detective Constable Emily Butler has paid tribute to the shop worker’s bravery during what she’s described as a “harrowing ordeal”:
