Residents warned tumble dryers could be dangerous

Island residents are being warned their tumble dryers could be dangerous.

The Office of Fair Trading is urging people who bought Hotpoint, Indesit and Creda appliances before October to get in touch with the manufacturers immediately.

In some cases excess fluff has come into contact with a heating part - presenting a risk of fire.
