Community asked to check on the vulnerable

People are being urged to check on their neighbours as the Island experiences a bout of adverse weather.

Since Thursday the Island has been hit by storm force winds and heavy rain - leading to flooding and structural damage in many places.

There are concerns that vulnerable people, especially those who don't have a close support network, may have become isolated.
