Fri, 04 Dec 2015
Debris and fuel has been found at the suspected crash site of a light aircraft that left the Isle of Man for Blackpool yesterday.
The non-Manx registered plane left Ronaldsway Airport in the morning but both ports lost contact with the lone pilot three miles off Blackpool coast just before 9am.
Rescue crews searched 45 square miles of the Irish Sea.
Examinations are now being carried out to determine the origin of the debris.
