People urged to help vulnerable this Christmas

People on the Island are being urged to help those in need this Christmas.

The Live at Home Scheme is asking shoppers drop a luxury item, or treat, into special collection trolleys at Shoprite.

The charity tries to give the little extras that people love over the festive season but that can be taken for granted, to people who might not be able to afford them.
