Pensioner admits sending criminal property through post

A pensioner from Ramsey will be sentenced in January after admitting removing criminal property from the Isle of Man.

62-year-old Jean Bonnar had previously denied the charge but was re-arraigned at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week.

She pleaded guilty to posting a package containing £2,800 to Scotland in September last year suspecting it to be linked to crime.

Social enquiry reports have been requested before she is sentenced at the Court of General Gaol Delivery on January 15th.
