More parking is needed in central Douglas - but government won't reveal how many spaces could be created by building a new multi-storey car park.
The Department of Economic Development says it's in the middle of a commercial procurement process with potential developers for the Fort Street site so can't reveal details.
West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas believes the information should be made public - currently the Parade and Lord Street sites have around 360 paid for spaces.
Minister Laurence Skelly says the balance of free and paid for parking is being taken into consideration but says there are also other priorities:
