Patterns of drug and alcohol abuse on the Isle of Man will be assessed as part of a new strategy to improve the help available.
The Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed a "needs assessment" will be carried out - it's after it revealed there are no detailed statistics available on substance misuse.
Howard Quayle says the new strategy will contain specific objectives to try and improve problem areas - one of those is the current concern of legal highs.
