Technology set to engage walkers in the south

New technology is being used to help engage walkers in the south of the Island.

Rushen Heritage Trust is launching a new interactive walking App in the spring - the first route will focus on the trail between Port St Mary and The Sound.

Coordinator Laura Cuthbertson says it's a way of bringing the area to life.

The trust is acting as a "virtual museum" in a bid to bring the community together through heritage with a number of events planned for the future:
