Protect your parcels say police

Police are warning people to take extra care when having parcels delivered in the run up to Christmas.

They say they are routinely being left unattended on the doorsteps of many homes around the Island during the day.

In a bid to deter thieves they're asking people to consider asking for the parcel to be signed for or delivering it to a safer place instead.
