There are no plans to change the law to allow more "secret trials" to take place on the Isle of Man.
That's according to the acting Attorney General who says the Manx courts uphold the principal of open justice.
John Quinn was quizzed on the topic in Tynwald this week by Onchan MHK Peter Karran who wanted reassurance that private hearings weren't being used for "political expediency".
He was also concerned about potential changes to legislation in the UK - both are things which Mr Quinn says will be closely monitored:
