Free festive Douglas parking expected to boost trade

Free parking is expected to drive people off the internet and into Douglas this busy festive season.

The Department of Infrastructure is freeing up the Douglas Promenade walkway on Thursday evenings and on Saturdays and Sundays from November 26th until New Year's Eve.

Complementary parking will also be available at the Chester Street, Shaw's Brow and the Bottleneck car parks during peak shopping times.
