Tynwald is being asked to support a new blueprint which aims to secure and grow the Island's fishing industry.
The 'Future Fisheries' strategy will develop the sea fishery and marine environment which is currently worth £13 million to the economy.
The industry employs more than 300 people and has more than 60 vessels fishing from the Island however it's facing challenges from competition from non-Manx vessels and declining stocks.
