Two police officers are being commended for leaping to the rescue of a man who jumped into Ramsey Harbour.
The 25-year-old entered the water at around 8:15pm on Tuesday - fearing for his safety PC Saskia Baxter went to his aid with a life ring.
She was assisted by fellow PC Mike Diamond and the coastguard and around 45-minutes later the trio returned to dry land.
It's the second time PC Baxter has jumped into the same waters to rescue someone from drowning - earlier this year she was nominated for Community Officer of the Year for her bravery.
