Legislation to allow same sex marriage on the Isle of Man could be implemented by next summer.
That's according to the Chief Minister who says the first reading of it will be put to Tynwald in December.
People still have the chance to share their views on the subject as part of a public consultation which ends on Friday.
Based on UK legislation the Marriage Bill allows same sex couples to marry in either civil or religious ceremonies - Allan Bell says it could be a swift process:
