Sentence date for man who hid drugs at family home

An Onchan man will be sentenced in the New Year after police caught him storing drugs at his parents' home.

29-year-old Mark Whipp appeared at Douglas Courthouse on Friday - he's previously pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis and cocaine with intent to supply.

Officers raided his home address on May 1st where they found drugs with a street value of almost £1,900.

Whipp will be sentenced on January 12th - he has been bailed until then.
