Teenage rapist to be sentenced in December

A teenager from Douglas will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to rape.

The 16-year-old boy, who can't be named for legal reasons, appeared at Douglas Courthouse last week.

He admitted one charge of rape which took place on June 20th this year.

Reports from the Youth Justice Team will be compiled before he's sentenced at the Court of General Gaol Delivery on December 1st.

The juvenile has been bailed in the meantime.
