Five people have been found to be breaching work permit law on the Island this year.
It's as a result of 134 inspections carried out by the Department of Economic Development.
The Employment Services Inspectorate is responsible for ensuring compliance with employment law in areas like work permits and the minimum wage.
Last year 201 inspections were carried out and 22 illegal workers were located - Minister Laurence Skelly says the figures depict a success story:
