Driver sustains back injuries following Blackboards crash

Emergency services rescued a motorist this morning after they lost control of their car.

The crash happened at the Blackboards on the Old Castletown Road at 6am - the vehicle went through the fence and landed in the field below.

The driver, who complained of back injuries, was taken on a spinal board to Noble's Hospital.
