Liverpool landing stage negotiations honourable, says Chief

No "underhand deals" will be done during negotiations about the future of the Liverpool landing stage.

That's the promise from the Chief Minister who's rubbished Onchan MHK Peter Karran's claims that taxpayers are going to lose out.

Mr Karran says he's concerned because of previous problems with long-term agreements.

Discussions are on-going between government, Peel Ports and the Steam Packet to ensure ferry links can be maintained to Pier Head - Allan Bell says as yet no details about costs or how long things will take are available:
