Accountant to be sentenced for theft of over one million pounds

A thieving accountant who's admitted stealing over £1 million will be sentenced in December.

64-year-old Richard Costain appeared at Douglas Courthouse last week where he admitted a further five counts of theft.

Between 2004 and 2014 he stole more than one million pounds and over 50,000 EUROS - it brings the total number of charges against him to 14.

Social enquiry reports have been requested before Costain, who is currently remanded at the Isle of Man Prison, is sentenced on December 11th.
