Sheltered housing complex redevelopment set for Peel

Westland's Sheltered Housing Complex could soon be redeveloped at a cost of around £15-16 million.

The Peel and Western District Housing Committee is exhibiting plans to tenants and locals at the recently acquired Douglas Road site in Peel.

Works on the first of three phases is expected to start in February 2016 - set to be completed by August 2017.
