Man arrested following assault and robbery in Crosby yesterday

Police have charged a local man after an assault and theft in Crosby yesterday.

A 20-year-old woman was assaulted and her mobile phone was taken at around 4:40pm at a concrete a bus shelter.

Since then, a 27-year old Douglas man has been charged with robbery - and appeared in court today.

The incident occurred on the main road junction to Eyreton Road.
