Delays in progressing a court case against a man accused of stealing 50,000 Euros have been branded "unsatisfactory".
59-year-old Anthony Fresson was due to be committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery this week.
The East Sussex man has been charged with one count of theft which allegedly took place in 2009 when he was a director of an Island company.
However the prosecution applied for an adjournment saying the Financial Crime Unit still had "considerable investigations" outstanding.
Mr Fresson has been bailed to reside at David Gray House in Douglas until his next court appearance on October 20th.
